Watching this masterpiece made me realise just how privileged we have it in the 21st century.

Absolutely gripping from start to finish

Too slow paced and I think the movie didn’t quite know what it wanted to be. Tries to focus on horror and psychology at the same time and does both poorly.

Simply phenomenal

Pretty cool take on the idea of decoherence from Quantum Reality nonsense. Thoroughly enjoyed being confused by this one.

Typical dumb action movie with complicated and nonsensical plans. Tries too hard to be funny AND badass at the same time. Redeemed by the second part.

Very glad I didn't pay to watch this in the cinema. The fight scenes showed an alarming lack of restraint. Aki and Angel's subplot felt underbaked.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this one but oh boy. The concept alone is interesting. Restarting the sun. Classic "turn it off and on again" energy haha.

But then it morphs into something more and honestly I think you should just watch it.

My favourite Wes Anderson work and I honestly think his best. Endlessly funny and beautifully shot with an engaging story throughout. 10/10

I want to lose my memory so I can watch The Magician again for the first time.

Absolutely gripping story that explores human history, psychology, war, ambition, etc. The characters all feel fleshed out and you know how they would react in any situation. That's how good the character writing is.

Don't come for the animation or battles. Those are secondary. Come for the PLOT.

Very enjoyable. Brad Pitt and Damson Idris work very well together as frenemies

Rosamund's South African accent was the highlight for me haha. Solid entry but the first two were better. This one feels more campy somehow

Great cast but my god what a mess of a movie. The pacing is atrocious and most of the scenes are honestly useless.

DiCaprio's acting is also a bit hard to believe lol. He brought maybe too much energy and it all just feels like he's "over acting".

Your standard apocalyptic story with insane visuals and an average plot. But this one has an ending that I think makes it unique.

Went into this without any expectations and was blown away at the end.

Great storytelling and an interesting premise with a worthy plot twist waiting for you at the end.

Although a friend did guess the twist halfway through so maybe it's not that twisty haha but it got me.

Try to love what you already have instead of living in the past or having envy for something you don't have.

Lelouch is easily top 3 protagonists in all of fiction to me. Tactical, intelligent, and ruthless when necessary. Watching his plans unfold is always a treat. Suzaku is badass too

Samuel Jackson and Christopher Waltz are always terribly enjoyable to watch and this is no exception.

Very strong addition to the Ghibli roster but I don't think it quite reaches the highs of some of the other Ghibli work.

Surprisingly enjoyable and since I enjoy a good sci-fi, it was hard not to fall in love with the alien design and time travel elements. Really good!

God-tier soundtrack, science that tracks, and an amazing cast with amazing performances. Truly one of the greatest movies ever made.

A very interesting and original plot, top performances from the cast, award winning OST, etc. Easy to see why Christopher Nolan is considered one of the greats.
